Meeting schedules are posted in the NH legislative calendar and records of the Board meetings are posted at www.NHCancerPlan.org.
In 2009, the state budget called for a review of all study committees and commissions and other similar bodies. The Committee on Committees was formed for this review process. In January, 2010 the OB responded to some questions about its purpose, utility, and functioning.
The current fund is due to sunset June 30,2011. This was intentional in
order to include updated strategies and priorities from the 2010-2014 Cancer
Plan. New legislation will be needed to renew the fund. Work groups are
involved in prioritizing objectives that need funding. The Collaboration's
Board of Directors will make the final determination of the funding request.
It is anticipated that new legislation will be dratted by December 2010 and
introduced in January 2011.
